| Description | WXII 12 and the Triad CW is looking for a Director of First Impressions. As the executive assistant to the President and General Manager, you will not only be the first point of contact for those entering that office, but you will also work as the front-line receptionist for the entirety of the operation. This is an in-person job designed for someone that enjoys people, believes in advocacy and service, and wants to learn daily about the role of broadcasters in our community. Responsibilities Management of guests, vendors, and deliveries Engage with community partners and our neighbors, in person and on the phone, directing them to the appropriate department and answering their questions and concerns with empathy and professionalism Various administrative duties supporting the GM’s desk, including travel and entertainment arrangements and communications with staff and guests Maintain general office supplies, coordinate in-house events and other tasks as needed In-person attendance is required Qualifications Previous Customer Service or Receptionist experience preferred Familiarity with the Cisco switchboard console is a plus Effective use of the Microsoft Office suite and general computer skills is required along with a genuine interest in learning new skills This may be your first job at WXII/The Triad CW, but the opportunity to grow into other roles is waiting for the right candidate Diversity Statement At Hearst Television we tell stories every day.
