WCTI-TV (ABC)/ Bonten Media Group, has an opening for a Director of Sales in our New Bern, NC, office. The Director of Sales will excel at sales coaching, salesperson selection, holding salespeople and managers accountable, and motivating people. This person will embrace a coaching culture as a cornerstone of the sales process. The Director of Sales will have excellent communication skills including listening and questioning skills, be able to provide regular feedback and confront issues without being confrontational, and have strong closing skills.
Eastern North Carolina Broadcasting is an ABC-TV affiliate with multicast MOVIES! channel, digital platforms, and Shared Services Agreement with FOX-TV affiliate.

Experience:
Experience at creating and managing sales plans and budgets, as well as metrics, dashboards, pipeline, forecasts and reports. Experience with media advertising, television, digital, and mobile is a huge plus, but not required if you are the perfect candidate.
Requirements:
You are very motivated, work well independently and as part of a team, and are a self-starter. You easily develop strong relationships with all stakeholders.
