Beasley Media Group has an opening for an Assistant Engineer/Transmitter Engineer in the Charlotte, NC market. We are looking for a high energy, self-motivated person to add to the engineering department. Beasley’s Charlotte, NC market includes (5) FM’s and (1) AM. Responsibilities / Skills / Requirements: Maintain studio, transmitter, and field equipment; Experience with AM / FM Transmitters and Studio electronics required; Work closely with other Engineering and IT staff to achieve the needs and goals of the stations; Ensure compliance with FCC rules and regulations; Provide off-hours support for stations when necessary; Broadcast Automation knowledge is preferred; Must have strong technical and communication skills; Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and provide general building and grounds maintenance; Valid driver’s license required. |
