WNCT-TV Greenville, NC has an immediate opening for a full-time Assignment Desk Editor for our daily newscasts. The Ideal Candidate will have a editorial voice and an aggressive approach to breaking news. Responsible for generating and developing news stories for both broadcast and web.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to flourish under pressure. Duties include assisting producers with newscasts by writing scripts, editing video and other day-to-day assignments while also filling in when others are on vacation. Must be self motivated, posses a positive attitude and be able to work flexible hours on short notice including weekends, overnights and holidays. |
Experience:
Experience with ENPS, Grass Valley (Edius) non-linear editing and broadcast writing a must. |
Requirements:
Bachelor's Level Degree in Communication/Journalism or related field. |
