WCNC is seeking an experienced Broadcast Engineer/IT Network AdministratorThis is a regular, full-time position.   If you thrive in a fast-paced, team environment, we want to hear from you.

What we need:

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that thrives in a technical innovative atmosphere. The position requires someone who has a proven record for being able to work under pressure situations when deadlines are critical. The candidate needs to be highly collaborative and will be working with leading IT and broadcast professionals on a wide range of technical projects. Responsible for assisting end users and their software application.   Assisting in IT audit compliance procedures, and Change Management processes and able to work within a corporate environment. Strong understanding of enterprise security best practices and how best to assess, protect, and monitor corporate resources. Additionally, a stellar performer will have a problem solving/solutions oriented mentality with the desire to learn, and will practice perseverance with trouble-shooting to ensure that ongoing problems and general maintenance are managed effectively and efficiently.

Requirements:

What you need:

College degree, or technical school training, with minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft operating systems for desktops, and servers

Expert computer skills

Microsoft and Cisco Certifications a Plus,

Experience with VMWare, DPM, AD, Group Policy deployment.

Knowledge of broadcast tools such as ENPS, Wide Orbit, Crispin Automation, Miranda Graphics, and BitCentral Editing, are important however not a requirement.

  • Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of broadcast infrastructure
  • Excellent project management skills with proven experience managing media technology projects
  • Demonstrated sensitivity in handling confidential information
  • Can successfully communicate technical information in a non-technical manner

The ability to communicate with the end-user is a must.

Knowledge of Social media application with implementation in a business environment.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in order to meet deadlines.

Must be able to work some weekends and/or nights.
