WRAL-TV is looking for an engaging, multi-tasking Enterprise Multimedia Journalist. This individual must be skilled in using the latest creative storytelling tools and techniques to craft, shoot, and edit their original content. As an Enterprise Multimedia Journalist, the individual must generate local stories; analyze events, issues and trends; conduct compelling interviews; and creatively produce television reports that communicate the news in a clear, imaginative manner. Qualified candidates must have initiative to research and produce captivating story pitches. The Enterprise Multimedia Journalist must also be highly skilled at producing original, compelling content that evokes emotion and relates to our audience.

The Enterprise Multimedia Journalist must exhibit clear, creative and confident on-air presentation skills. Live reporting skills are vital, as well as the ability to ad lib and engage with anchors. The individual must have strong writing abilities, solid news judgment and a strong sense of visual storytelling. Ideal candidates utilize multiple cameras and photography enhancement tools. They also are familiar with the newest editing tools and techniques, while regularly using graphics and new forms of media (user-generated content, Facetime/Skype interviews, webcams, etc.) to enrich story presentation. This person must be social media savvy and utilize all platforms to gather information and generate audience attention. Strong communication skills are also necessary to collaborate on all promotional opportunities. Proficiency with ENPS, Edius, FTP and live transmission are preferred. At least two years previous experience in television news and a four year college degree are required.
