WLOS/WMYA is looking for a creative and dedicated full-time Investigative News Photographer to join our NPPA Medium Market Station of the Year team. We are seeking someone who can see beyond the lens and bring back compelling stories. We are shooting full High-definition (HD) on media cards and editing on desktops and laptops. You will be working as photojournalist with our Investigative Team on special projects and regular franchise stories and as a general assignment photojournalist as needed.

Requirements:
A strong team-player who can produce compelling stories under tight deadlines
Must have valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and be able to operate ENG news vehicles
At least 2 years of video shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
The ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, live shots and natural sound packages
Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
At least two years of ENG experience in a competitive, daily-deadline television news organization
Strong editing skills in non-linear edit systems (AVID preferred), possess excellent people skills
A strong work ethic and a great attitude
A passion for story telling and the ability to bring traditionally non-visual stories to life is absolutely essential in this position
