Digital Marketing Specialist

DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Day-to-day Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Specialist:

  • Manage day-to-day digital media campaigns ranging from OTT to geofencing/programmatic display and video campaigns, including collaborating on campaign strategy, ad copy creation and campaign optimization suggestions
  • Work directly with account management and other internal teams to help plan, implement and improve performance of campaigns to ensure client goals are met
  • Assist account executives and digital sales manager with reports and provide benchmarks and recommendations/insights into campaign performance
  • Work directly with clients and vendors to foster relationships and create future opportunities
  • Monitor, maintain, and optimize client campaigns for the best results and to grow local businesses.

The ideal candidate for the Digital Marketing Specialist position will be:

  • Comfortable managing multiple campaigns simultaneously
  • Organized, and excel at multi-tasking while maintaining attention to detail
  • Talented problem-solver & creative-thinker
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite Programs, especially PowerPoint
  • A strong writer & communicator
  • Client-focused
  • Confident and familiar with purchasing digital, online advertisement space and managing different campaigns based on different KPIs

Required Experience

To be considered for the Digital Marketing Specialist position the candidate will meet or exceed the below requirements:

  • 1-2 year(s) experience at a digital marketing agency or publisher
  • 1-2 year(s) AdWords and paid social media experience
  • 1-2 year(s) Google Analytics experience
  • Savvy with various analytical metrics and the impact on outlined KPIs
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Facebook and/or other media certifications are helpful, but not required
  • Knowledge of Google Ad Manager (formerly DFP) is helpful, but not required
  • Knowledge of HTML code is helpful, but not required
  • Knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop is helpful, but not required
