Title: Digital Content Specialist – Fayetteville Cluster

Location: Fayetteville, NC

Description: Beasley Media Group - Fayetteville is looking for an experienced Digital Content Specialist to

help lead our cluster’s Digital Content team. The ideal candidate will help lead and coach our Digital team to

develop, produce and deliver content for programming and sales, as well as assist with management of our

cluster’s websites and social media.

Qualifications:

· At least three (3) years’ experience in digital content generation

· Proven ability to lead and coach a team

· Proven record of creating content and driving digital traffic

· Proficiency in video production/photography/editing software (Adobe Premiere, Photoshop), and

social media experience

· Knowledge of WordPress

· Ability to multi-task in an organized, professional, dependable manner

· Must be comfortable coaching on-air talent and producers, as well as working with recording artists

to create and execute content

· Experience with qualitative research to help design content filters for our radio brands

Job Duties:

· Oversees content development and distribution across all of our digital platforms.

· Collaborates with local talent and our station PD’s to devise digital content and assets that will help

drive traffic, audience engagement, content distribution and ad revenues

· Charged with improving/maintaining content development for the Cluster/Station—with an emphasis

on live and local

· Should attend programming meetings

· Should host regular digital planning meetings to make sure “all hands are on deck.”

· Manage a team of core content creators/designers and social contributors

· Train and educate support staff in content management, blogging, podcasting/AOD, audience engagement and retention, photo and video content

· Cultivate, negotiate and maintain local editorial relationships, influencer and blogger pools

· Set and manage the local editorial calendars around lifestyle, music, local/station events and holidays

· Plan and implement web programs with Corporate and Format Captains

· Coordinate all onsite/offsite coverage of events through live streams, real time social media and

website updates

· Manage and implement strategies to increase website traffic to meet Corporate goals through talent and brand focused original content, creative editorial photo galleries, engagement tools, user generated content, social media referral traffic, email referral traffic, content partnerships, search engine optimization, and third party provided content

· Regularly meets with the DPD and current Corporate Digital Marketing team on best practices, strategies, content ideas, and content marketing to help meet company digital goals

· Execute email marketing with input from PDs, Marketing teams and Ad Sales

· Works with Marketing teams to ensure that all digital assets are aligned with the station/brand by hosting a dedicated Digital Marketing Meeting each week

· Implement digital contesting via Second Street, social and texting platforms

· Oversee social media process and best practices

· Generate custom local digital metrics reports

· Create audits for social media and talent digital participation

· Collaborate with multiple departments to meet station and/or client digital needs

· Collaborate with programming and sales teams on advertisement-based content strategies and execution

· Oversee digital equipment working with IT and Engineering to determine local equipment needs and

services

· Will participate in meetings with market DPD and other Digital PD’s—especially with those in same formats to benefit from collaboration and to reduce any content development redundancies
