Building and Grounds Maintenance Manager
This position requires a minimum of 2 years or related experience in Building and Ground Maintenance in a 24/7 on-call broadcast operations or IT based environment. Coordination of maintenance, repair, or replacement are key elements of the position whether it be at the station level or corporate level. Ideal candidate must possess effective communication skills and understand facility is a 24/7 broadcast environment. At times this may require the Building and Grounds Maintenance Manager to receive calls on weekends or late nights if the issue is of a critical nature. Proactive maintenance of current systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or other components).
Primary Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment.
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Handling basic repairs and maintenance
- Contacting and securing contractors when professional repairs are required
- Operation, Support, and installation of telephones, computers, and office equipment systems
Secondary Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Assist Engineering, IT and Operations with various projects and support requests as needed
- Support and coordinate office moves and relocations as required.
- Support other BCL properties as deemed necessary by management to meet the operational needs specific to a given property.
