Job Description/Requisition Details:
Only the biggest names in media can fill the most coveted seat in media. Entercom Charlotte, is seeking the next legendary Afternoon Drive host for News Talk 1110 & 99.3 WBT (AM/FM). If you are:
- A media brand with national reach and a passion to have a local impact
- An experienced, authentic storyteller on air and in the digital space
- Able to deliver news and lifestyle topics with a strong point of view while always entertaining the listener
- As familiar with and immersed in the issues that matter to Charlotte as you are “beltway” politics
- Ambitious in taking direction and turning it into execution on the air
- A creative team leader, bringing out the strengths of each team member for the betterment of the show
Qualifications:
All candidates should have three years of hosting experience, possess producer and content creation skills, strong organizational, audio editing, writing and social media proficiency, and, preferably, a college degree. Lastly, a candidate must be an “all-in” team player with a positive attitude and an excellent work ethic.
