| Description | Date: February 24, 2020 Title: Video Editor – part-time Location: Charlotte, NC Beasley Media Group, LLC is currently seeking an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our growing local Charlotte digital team in Charlotte, NC! This person will work directly with our local creative team, in-house video production team, designers, talent, and sales teams. Candidates should be storytellers well versed in video production including camera setup, remote lighting, audio recording and motion graphics. In addition, candidates should have strong editing experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects. In this position, you will be part of our growing local digital team, collaborating on a wide variety of internal and external video productions for our Charlotte market clients, promotions and programming departments. This role will report directly to the Charlotte Digital Program Director. Video Editor role will include: • Create/edit original company content for internal/external purposes that can be broadcast/viewed on multiple digital platforms • Create/edit entertainment, informational, training, customer and sales videos • Post production processes such as: Media output/rendering types Color grading techniques and applications Audio restoration/enhancement techniques • Create original motion graphics, logos and animations • Writing scripts and handling production logistics • Equipment setup such as cameras, lights, and mics for video productions • Field producing and conducting on/off-camera interviews • Growing and maintaining our video library • Advancing personal skillset as a videographer/photographer/designer Qualifications: • BFA/BA/BS degree • 3+ years of experience as video specialist of similar role • Expert in video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition (or similar) • Demonstrated proficiency of design related programs such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint • Experience with green screen, and ability to work with audio editors for enhanced sound requirements • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines • Ability to make quick revisions and communicate effectively • Capable of implementing new technology and best practices within the video industry • Creative thinker • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills • Team player • Good time-management skills • Great interpersonal and communication skills • Knowledge and good understanding of motion graphics • Sizzle reel or portfolio required Send resumes and sizzle reels to Alexis.Zarycki@bbgi.com with the subject line Video Editor Application Beasley Media Group (BMG), LLC, a subsidiary of Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc., is a multiplatform media company providing advertising and digital marketing solutions across the United States.
