WGHP FOX8 is searching for a Community Relations Coordinator to orchestrate a wide range of community focused station initiatives.  The Community Relations Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining year-round relationships with various city, county, private business and non-profit organizations.  Working alongside the Creative Service Director, the CRC will engage in all stages of planning and execution on dozens of station outreach programs, such as the FOX8 Triad Holiday Concerts, Give a Kid a Coat, FOX8 Gifts for Kids, as well as numerous FOX8 Cares initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be extremely detail oriented and possess a polished, professional demeanor.  Superior organizational skills are required in order to balance multiple projects, in various stages of planning, at the same time.  Prior event planning experience is a plus. Prior government or non-profit experience also a plus.  Basic video production skills highly desired.

4 year college degree required. 2-3 years relevant experience preferred.
