Senior Full Stack Developer

Title: Sr. Full Stack Developer
Location: Raleigh, NC
WRAL Digital is seeking to hire an experienced full stack developer who will be responsible for back-end and front-end development, including developing architecture, building and maintaining hosting and deployment pipelines, and building and maintaining web and mobile applications.
The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of front-end and back-end languages, databases, AWS services, and have the ability to troubleshoot and correct performance issues.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and documenting front-end and back-end architecture
- Managing, maintaining, and deploying AWS services and containers, such as Docker, AWS Fargate, ECS, and RDS
- Integrating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Managing and maintaining internal applications, along with public-facing web and mobile applications
- Designing and developing APIs for internal and external use
- Developing web and mobile software to meet business needs
- Mentoring and assisting less experienced developers on architecture and development
- Assisting with code review and technical planning
- Joining the development team’s on-call rotation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of development experience
- Advanced skills in PHP, React, and MySQL
- In-depth knowledge of AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git
- Experience building and maintaining APIs
- Experience building responsive mobile applications with React Native
- Experience with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug
- Team player with the desire to help others understand development best practices
Bonus Skills:
- AWS Certification
- Experience with SCSS
- Experience with Material-UI and Storybook
