| Description | Responsibilities include all duties related to gathering, editing and on-air delivery of local news stories for the weekday WHKY-TV Local Newscast. Additional duties as directed including anchoring, updating news stories to web and social media sites. Some reporting and on-air work on WHKY Radio Newscast. Use of Windows based editing software, automation and production equipment. Take charge, self motivated Candidate should have successful experience in above fields and be familiar with the greater Hickory Metro area. Must provide own transportation, dependable and able with work well and communicate with staff, public and clients both on-air and in-person. Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week.
