COVID-19 Related Webinar – March 25, 2020 – 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. EST

NCAB Broadcasters:

We have all been impacted by COVID-19. Television and radio broadcasters are being affected in ways that are unique and different from other businesses. Broadcasters are on the front lines of informing listeners and viewers about the crisis while also trying to understand how to thread the needle with respect to running local businesses. We know COVID-19 has created problems and confusion, and many broadcasters are wondering how to navigate the current environment (an environment that is changing on a daily—if not hourly—basis).

The VAB, NCAB, MDCD, IBA and OAB are pleased to offer a webinar presented by our attorneys from the Brooks Pierce law firm. The webinar will be presented on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. ET.

The list of topics that will be addressed is—like the news these days—evolving in real time. Among the topics we anticipate discussing are:

  • Employment-related issues, including workplace COVID-19 response plans, guidance from the EEOC, and more.
  • Business-related topics, including the Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Loan program.
  • FCC-related matters, including deadlines, LUC, and the like.

There will be also ample time for questions from attendees.

This webinar is available at no cost to members of VAB, NCAB, MDCD, IBA and OAB. An archive will be available for anyone not able to participate in the live session.
