"Go Live" Date for Online NC Sports Wagering Announced -- March 11, 2024

NORTH CAROLINA ONLINE SPORTS WAGERING “GO LIVE” DATE SET: MARCH 11, 2024

Broadcasters have been eagerly awaiting news of North Carolina’s online sports wagering “Go Live” date since last June, when the North Carolina General Assembly passed House Bill 347 (the “Law”) authorizing sports wagering and Governor Cooper signed the bill into law.  For more on the announcement and on the Commission’s rules regarding sports wagering advertising, please open the attached memo.
