Position/Title: IT Specialist |
Details:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and troubleshoot all IT and broadcast equipment within the facility to ensure operational excellence. This may include servers, routers, switches, VOIP phones and PCs.
- End-user support for all network, computer, and software related issues.
- Perform routine maintenance on broadcast equipment, including audio, video, and control systems.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop and implement audio, video, and IT solutions that meet the station’s needs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, especially during live broadcasts, to minimize downtime and ensure on-air continuity.
- Assist in the successful completion of new initiatives, technical upgrades, and operational projects.
- Interface with internal users, corporate teams, and external vendors to diagnose, implement, and resolve system issues.
- Windows Domain user/group administration – adds, deletions, changes

Experience:
Requirements & Skills:
- College degree preferred
- Familiarity with remote desktop applications and VPNs is preferred. Experience with Adobe editing systems is an advantage.
- Experience with broadcast audio, video, and control systems a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Fluency in English, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and independently on projects.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Physical capability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds, work in varied weather conditions, and climb ladders as required.
