WNCT 9 On Your Side and Eastern North Carolina’s CW in Greenville, NC is searching for a Lifestyle Videographer/Editor to join its team and work directly with our lifestyle show. The Videographer/Editor will produce compelling visual news video and live shots by utilizing their artistic, technical expertise and composition skills. |
Experience:
- Capture video and edit stories for daily newscasts and lifestyle show
- Collaborate with producers on video elements of newscasts and lifestyle show
- Shoot and edit news video stories, including daily news and lifestyle show segment
- Maintain and operate camera equipment as well as company vehicle safely and efficiently
- Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, logistics and shot requirements
- Sets up, composes and executes video shots
- Edits video clips for television broadcasts and eMedia content
- Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Bachelor`s degree or equivalent in broadcasting, journalism, or related field preferred
- Minimum two years’ experience operating video recording equipment (More for larger markets and less for smaller markets)
- Ability to edit raw video to newscast form in a manner to complete the story for the viewer
- Video photography experience preferred Must be detail-oriented
- Maintains positive work environment through active team participation and cooperation with co-workers in all departments
- Responds positively to feedback
- Present professional image as a representation of the station at all times
